Also named after my girlfriend, Christina Marie Catherine Grace, this guitar is going to be a semi-hollow, neck-through, exotic guitar.
The construction will consist of a 2-piece Spanish Cedar semi-hollow topped off with a matched Mexican Canary-Wood top (amazing figure to the grain if you ask me!). The neck will be a through-body Mahogany piece with a White & Black Ebony fretboard (another extremely rare piece of wood and also quite beautiful). The hardware will be a mock-up of the Paul Reed Smith "Swamp Ash Special" guitar, complete with a matched set of McCarty pickups for the bridge and neck as well as a Duncan Vintage Rails pickup in reversed position in the middle spot. The bridge will be a tremolo Hipshot design that closely resembles a PRS styled trem, only this one will pivot on a 2 point system unlike the PRS 6-point. I opted for the 2 point to add some ease in overall bridge height and adjustment. The tuning machine will be a 3 x 3 variety of the Planet Waves Auto-Trim locking tuners.

I am also going to be building a solid-body version of this guitar, as well a Paul Reed Smith "copy", and finally an acoustic guitar modeled closely after a Taylor 314 only with Tiger-Wood sides and back and a Coco-Bolo fretboard. This is great!!!
